Our Law of Requital has dashed into fragments many nations because of their unjust systems and We replaced them with other people.
And how many a city that was doing wrong did We utterly destroy, and produced after it another people!
And how many a town have We destroyed because it was wicked, and We established after them a different people?
How many a town have We destroyed because of its wrongdoing, and We established after them a different people?
Many a community we terminated because of their transgression, and we substituted other people in their place.
How many habitations that were sinful have We demolished utterly, and raised other people after them.
And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people.
For, how many a community that persisted in evildoing have We dashed into fragments, and raised another people in its stead!
How many a community that dealt unjustly have We shattered, and raised up after them another folk!
How many a wrong-doing town did We shatter and then raise up another people.
And think but this: how many towns, whose inhabitants were wrongful of actions, did We destroy and replace by other people!
See how many nations of the wrongdoers I destroyed in the past, replacing them with other people.
How many a town (community) given to wrong-doing, have We destroyed, and raised up after them another people!
How many were the populations We utterly destroyed because of their iniquities, setting up in their places other peoples?
˹Imagine˺ how many societies of wrongdoers We have destroyed, raising up other people after them!
How many a town, that were unjust, have We crushed and raised up after them another people!
How many communities of evildoers We have destroyed! How many others We have raised up in their places!
How many a city that was evildoing We have shattered, and set up after it another people!
How many a city which had done wrong have we broken up, and raised up after it another people!
Now have We sent down to you a Book in which is a reminder for you; have you then no sense?
And how many a town that was unjust We have shattered, and We brought into being after it another people.
And how many cities have We overthrown, which were ungodly; and caused other nations to rise up after them?
How many were the populations We have totally destroyed because of their injustices, and set up in their places other peoples?
And We have utterly destroyed many a wrong-doing people of townships, and We raised up another people after them.
How many a town We have smashed that had been wrongdoing, and We brought forth another people after it.
