“And it will come upon them unexpectedly, when they perceive not,”
It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it.
So it will come to them suddenly, while they do not perceive it.
The Requital will come upon them suddenly, when they least expect it.
“And it will come upon them unexpectedly, when they perceive not,”
So it will come to them suddenly, while they do not perceive it.

It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it.
And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive not.
that will come upon them all of a sudden, without their being aware ;
So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not.
But when it comes upon them suddenly, taking them unawares,
A punishment that surprises them and catches them unawares and reduces them to ruin.
when they least expect it.
It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not.
But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;
which will take them by surprise when they least expect ˹it˺.
and it will come to them suddenly while they will not be anticipating (it),

But they will not believe therein until they see the painful doom.
