Have they not considered that We appointed a sanctuary secure, while men were swept away round about them? Do they then believe in vanity, and deny the favour of God?

Do they not see that We have established a safe haven while people all round them are violently dispossessed? So why do they believe in falsehood and reject the blessing of Allah?
Have they not seen that We have established a safe territory, while all around them the people are in constant danger Would they still believe in falsehood, and reject God's blessings
Have they not seen that We have set up a Sacred Sanctuary that We made a source of peace and security for people - while - all around them people are being carried away by fear and insecurity? Will they still believe in falsehood, and thus deny Allah's Blessing? (The Divine System frees people from fear and insecurity).

Do they not see that We established a Sanctuary in their midst -in Macca-, where people feel safe and secure whereas all around them people are assaulted, abducted and kidnapped! Do they entertain vanity and falsehood and reject and dismiss the grace of Allah!
Do they not realize that the safety of their sacred sanctuary in the midst of their dangerous country is a favor of God? Are they going to be grateful or still persisting in worshipping others beside God?
Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a secure sanctuary, while men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Bâtil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allâh), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allâh?

Have the people not seen that We have made the Sanctuary (of Makkah) a place of peace and security while people are carried off (by force) all around them? Do they continue to believe in falsehood and (thus) deny the favour of Allâh?
