O you who heed warning: when you marry believing women then divorce them before you have touched them: there is no number for you that you should count concerning them; but give them provision, and release them with a comely release.

You who have iman! when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, there is no ‘idda for you to calculate for them, so give them a gift and let them go with kindness.
O you who believe, if you marry the believing women, then divorced them before having intercourse with them, then there is no interim required of them. You shall compensate them, and let them go in an amicable manner.

You had better give them some provision and send them away in a handsome manner.
O you who have faith! When you marry faithful women and then divorce them before you touch them, there shall be no period for you to reckon. But provide for them and release them in a graceful manner.
