And We have destroyed what surrounds you of cities; and We expounded the proofs, that they might return.
We destroyed the cities round about you and have variegated the Signs so that hopefully they will turn back.
And We have destroyed the towns around you, after We had explained the proofs, perhaps they would repent.
Thus indeed have We annihilated many townships round about you, after We had explained Our Messages from different vantage points that they might return. (Townships and communities: Aad, Thamud, Sheba, Midyan, Sodom, Gomorrah, Ninevah, Tubba').
And We have destroyed what surrounds you of cities; and We expounded the proofs, that they might return.
And We destroyed the towns around you and We had dispatched the signs, perhaps they would repent.
We have destroyed the towns around you, after We had explained the proofs, perhaps they would repent.
We have annihilated many communities around you, after we had explained the proofs, that they might repent.
We have destroyed habitations all around you, having explained Our signs in different ways to them that they may turn back.
And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of cities, and We have diversified the signs that perhaps they might return .
Thus have We destroyed many a community living round about you; and yet, We had given many facets to messages, so that they might turn back .
And verily We have destroyed townships round about you, and displayed (for them) Our revelation, that haply they might return.
Surely We destroyed many a town around you. We sent Our Messages to them repeatedly and in diverse forms that they may eschew (their evil ways) and return (to Allah).
And before them in time, did We do away with towns all around you people. We displayed to them many signs and revealed many revelations all demonstrating divine power and authority and indicating some coming event, so that they stand repentant in lowliest plight and return their thoughts to Allah, but they did not.
I have destroyed many nations around you . I sent my messages to them over and over again in various ways so that they might stop wrongdoings.
And indeed We have destroyed towns (populations) round about you, and We have (repeatedly) shown (them) the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in various ways that they might return (to the truth and believe in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism).
We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us).
We certainly destroyed the societies around you after having varied the signs so perhaps they would return ˹to the Right Path˺.
And We have (also) destroyed (other) towns around you, while We had given to them a variety of signs, so that they might return (from disbelief).
We have also destroyed other communities that once flourished around you- We had given them various signs so that they might return to the right way-
And We destroyed the cities about you, and We turned about the signs, that haply they would return.
And we destroyed the cities that are around you:- and we turned about the signs that haply they might return.
And certainly We destroyed the towns which are around you, and We repeat the revelations that they might turn (towards Allah).
And indeed We already caused whatever towns around you to perish; and We propounded the signs, that possibly they would return.
We heretofore destroyed the cities which were round about you; and We variously proposed our signs unto them, that they might repent.
And indeed, We have destroyed before, populations round about you; And We have shown the Signs in various ways, so that they may turn (to Us).
And We have destroyed several of the townships (which were situated) around you. We have repeatedly explained the Messages in diverse ways so that the people might turn (to Us giving up their atrocity).
Certainly We destroyed towns that were around you, and We have paraphrased the signs so that they may come back.
