And they forbid it, and are far from it; and they destroy not save themselves, but they perceive not.
They keep others from it and avoid it themselves. They are only destroying themselves but they are not aware of it.
And they are deterring others from it, and keeping away themselves; but they will only destroy themselves, yet they do not notice.
They repel others from the Qur'an and deprive themselves of it. They hurt their own "Self" without even knowing it.

As for others, they prevent them from embracing the Truth; and themselves, they flee from it (so as to harm you). But they court their own ruin, although they do not realize it.
And they incite people to reject the Quran and decline to accept it, and they themselves have nothing to do with it. They only bring irretrievable disaster upon themselves and they do not have the wisdom to perceive this fact.
Then they forbid the others from and distant themselves from the belief. They do not realize that by doing so, they are destroying their own soul.
And they prevent others from him (from following Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and they themselves keep away from him, and (by doing so) they destroy not but their ownselves, yet they perceive (it) not.
Others they keep away from it, and themselves they keep away; but they only destroy their own souls, and they perceive it not.
They turn others away from the Prophet and distance themselves as well. They ruin none but themselves, yet they fail to perceive it.
From it (the Qur’ān) they prevent others, and from it they keep themselves away. They ruin none but their own selves, while they do not realize it.
and tell others not to listen , while they themselves keep away from it. But they ruin no one but themselves, though they fail to realize this.
And they forbid it, and keep afar from it, and it is only themselves they destroy, but they are not aware.

They dissuade from him, and avoid him; yet they destroy no one except themselves, but they are not aware.
