And if thou askest them: “Who sends down water from the sky, and therewith gives life to the earth after its death?” they will say: “God.” Say thou: “Praise belongs to God.” The truth is, most of them do not reason.

If you ask them, ‘Who sends down water from the sky, bringing the earth back to life again after it was dead?’ they will say, ‘Allah. ’ Say: ‘Praise be to Allah.’ But most of them do not use their intellect.
And if you ask them: "Who sends down water from the sky, thus reviving the land after its death" They will Say: "God," Say: "Praise be to God. " But most of them do not understand.
And thus it is - if you ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the height, and gives life with it to the earth, after it is has been dead?" They will surely answer, "Allah. " Say, "(Since this is so) all Praise is due to Allah alone!" But the majority of people fail to use their intellect (and realize that His Guidance can revive the living-dead and the 'dead' nations).
And if thou askest them: “Who sends down water from the sky, and therewith gives life to the earth after its death?” they will say: “God.” Say thou: “Praise belongs to God.” The truth is, most of them do not reason.

And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, “God. ” Say thou: “ all praise is due to God !” But most of them will not use their reason:
And if thou wert to ask them: Who causeth water to come down from the sky, and therewith reviveth the earth after its death? they verily would say: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them have no sense.
If you were to ask them: "Who sent down water from the sky and therewith revived the earth after its death?" they will certainly say: “Allah.” Say: “To Allah alone be praise and thanks.”* But most people do not understand.
And if you should ask them as to who sends water from the floor of the vault of heaven and revives the earth after it has suffered death, * they will say "Allah". Then say to them: "Thank Allah" -for admitting the truth-. They do not realize that they contradict themselves because most of them do not comprehend the facts.
If you ask the disbelievers , "Who sends down rainwater from the sky and thereby gives life to the dead land?" they will surely reply “God. ” Say: “Then He alone is worthy of all praise.” What a shame that most of them they do not get it.
And if you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" they will surely reply: "Allâh." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allâh!" Nay, most of them have no sense.
And if indeed thou ask them who it is that sends down rain from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death, they will certainly reply, "Allah!" Say, "Praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not.

Allah extends provision to whomsoever He will of His servants, or restricts it; verily, Allah is aware of all things.
And indeed in case you were to ask them, "Who has been sending down from the heaven water, so therewith gives life to the earth even after its death?" Indeed they would definitely say, " Allah. " Say, "Praise be to Allah." No indeed, (but) most of them do not consider.
Verily if thou ask them, who sendeth rain from heaven, and thereby quickeneth the earth, after it hath been dead; they will answer, God. Say, God be praised! But the greater part of them do not understand.
And if you truly ask them: "Who sends down rain from the sky, and gives life with it (rain) to the earth after its death?" They will certainly reply, "Allah. " Say: "All the Praises (and thanks) be to Allah!" Nay, most of them understand not.
And if you question them, `Who rains water from the clouds and thereby breathes life into the earth after its death (making it fertile and green)?' They will certainly say, `Allâh. ' Say, `All sorts of perfect and true praise belongs to Allâh.' Yet most of them do not make use of their understanding.
And if you ask them, ‘Who sends down water from the sky, with which He revives the earth after its death?’ They will surely say, ‘Allah. ’ Say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah!’ But most of them do not apply reason.
