And if they deny thee, then those before them denied; their messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the writings, and the Illuminating Writ;

If they deny you, those before them also denied the truth. Their Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, and psalms and the Illuminating Book.
And if they deny you, then those before them have also denied. Their messengers went to them with proofs, and the Psalms, and the enlightening Scripture.
(O Prophet) if they deny you, those before them also denied. Their Messengers came to them with all evidence of the Truth, and with Books of Divine Wisdom, and the Scripture giving light.
And if they deny thee, then those before them denied; their messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the writings, and the Illuminating Writ;
And if they deny you, then those before them have also denied. Their messengers went to them with the proofs and the scriptures and the Book of Enlightenment.
If they deny you, then those before them have also denied. Their messengers went to them with proofs, and the Psalms, and the enlightening book.
If they disbelieve you, those before them have also disbelieved. Their messengers went to them with clear proofs, and the Psalms, and the enlightening scriptures.
If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book.
And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.
And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth those who lived before their time, there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation;
And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.
If they give the lie to you now, those that went before them also gave the lie to their Messengers when they came to them with Clear Proofs,* with Scriptures, and with the Illuminating Book.*
And if they -the infidels- do reject the divine message and accuse you of falsehood and regard you as someone who passes himself off as someone other than he is, then you must realize that similarly acted those who preceded them They received Messengers with the divine message carrying evidence sufficient enough to establish their authority to implement Our statutes and Our Scriptures as well as the Book of enlightenment and illumination.
Never mind if they call you a liar. The nations before you also called their Prophets names and this in spite of the fact that they came with the miracles, the Psalms and the enlightening scriptures.
And if they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the Scriptures, and the book giving light.
And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.
If they deny you, so did those before them. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs, divine Books, and enlightening Scriptures.
If they reject you, (it is not something new, because) those before them have (also) rejected (messengers). Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and with scriptures and with the enlightening book.
If they call you a liar, their predecessors did the same: messengers came to them with clear signs, scriptures, and enlightening revelation
If they cry thee lies, those before them also cried lies; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, the Psalms, the Illuminating Book;
And if they called thee liar, those before thee called their apostles liars too, who came to them with manifest signs, and the Scriptures, and the illuminating Book.
Surely We have sent you (Muhammad) with the truth as a bearer of good news and a Warner; and there is not a people but a Warner has gone among them.
And in case they cry you lies, then (the ones) even before them already cried lies; their Messengers came to them with the supreme evidence (s), and the Scriptures (Zubur, sometimes understood to mean the Psalms) and the Supreme Enlightening Book.
If they charge thee with imposture, they who were before them likewise charged their apostles with imposture. Their apostles came unto them with evident miracles, and with divine writings, and with the enlightening book:
And if they (the people) deny (and reject) you, so, also did (reject) those before them, to whom came their messengers, with Clear Signs, and with Scripture (books of harsh prophecies), and the Book of Enlightenment.
And if they cry you lies, (remember) their predecessors (also) cried lies (to their Messengers of God) though their Messengers had brought to them clear proofs, the Scriptures and the illuminating Book.
If they impugn you, those before them have impugned : their apostles brought them manifest proofs, writs, and illuminating scriptures.
